I am a single gay Catholic male that commutes from the North Pacific Coast of the United States to the Mid South from time to time.

I am new to the West Coast but I love it.  I gave up everything I had to move out here but I live in the mountains and am surrounded by beautiful views and while I have other forms of stress, I lead a simple life but enjoy the beauty of waking up to the mountains and clouds that are below me.

I have a small advertising firm and am working on creating a new on-line firm selling computer equipment.

My long term goal is to start a charter airline that will develop into scheduled service in time.  However, that is in my long term plans.

Despite the cost of fuel prices these days and airline cutbacks, I have a plan to change how an airline operates returning respect and dignity to the traveling public and without excess charges or unfriendly employees.

It was a project I formulated during flight training and while in college and I believe that it will work.  I hear people tell me every day that it will never work and I don’t listen.  Two firms in this industry told me it would and based on that and a strong belief in people and myself, I am pushing forward everyday in small bits and pieces.

I do like to write and I like to add music.  It is something I started last summer when I was recovering from leg surgery.

And I listen to music of yesteryear – Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, just to name a few.  So, the music that accompanies my blogs may sound old but I ask you to listen to the words – they were composed with meaning.  Rare in today’s music choices, though some new artists like Michael Buble and Diana Krall are bringing back some of my favorite standards.

I was living in the South surrounded by people who didn’t approve of my lifestyle and criticized me (both family and former friends) so I discovered more about the internet and the people out there that accepted me for who I am and here I am today.

I started my blogs as pages on myspace and still have them there.

The one blog to receive the most attention was the one I wrote following the death of my best friend.  I haven’t placed that here in WordPress yet but you can view it by going to www.myspace.com/rememberkeith.

That was followed by my blog I transferred here about dating those with disabilities (though I am completely ambulatory, I have dated two people with disabilities and found the true meaning of life and love).

Not everything I write is sensitive and sentimental.  I have my wild side, my sarcastic side, and my ocassionally “racy” side that touches on some topics that others would consider “taboo”.

As I post, you will find those writings as well.  So, please don’t chalk me up to being some saint due to something I wrote – I am human, just like you and I am very open.  Sometimes too open when dealing with intimacy, sex, and relationships but that was part of my college education and I pursued it after changing my major – to help understand the “real” me.  And these days I happily share and give advice when I can.

More to you later – I will keep blogging as time permits and I will keep transferring things I have already written here as often as I can.
